Who We Are

Whether you are now, once were, or want to begin as a practicing painter, PAPA welcomes you. This is a place to get involved with other local artists, learn from them, and share your knowledge and experiences.

Opportunities to show and share your work await you at PAPA both in the Gallery on Broadway and on our
online website.

Our gallery is staffed completely by the volunteer effort of its membership which has been a proven success since its inception. Exhibiting artists serve as docents for each show they are in, and other members contribute by serving on committees and fulfilling roles that serve our entire membership.  

All members are encouraged to participate in our annual fundraiser, The PAPA $10 Miniature Sale. This sale coincides with the annual Downtown Paducah ‘Dickens of a Christmas’ event and provides a major boost towards operating expenses and member services. It’s a great way to share the gift of art with our local art community. And, it’s fun!
