This beautiful morning, I have been out checking on my Zinnias.  The bunnies have challenged me, so much, but finally with fencing and Aroma Therapy, I have been triumphant, I thought!  A little green worm is now my nemesis!  I hope your gardening efforts have been easier than mine!

We welcome to our membership, Pam and Bob Patterson and daughter Jinny.  I do look forward to meeting them.  We have been blessed with several new members, lately.

This Gallery Show has been very successful, now I look forward to the new show.  Bring your works Monday, the 25th or Tuesday, the 26th.  The number of works is the same, 4 framed, 4 unframed, 7 miniatures, and 8 cards.  Be sure to put a temporary tag, with the title of the painting only, on the front of the framed paintings.

Our meeting is the 26th At 7:00.  John McLaren will share info on what goes into creating his luminescent watercolors.  John is the current Featured Artist, excellent show, by the way!  Liz Hudson will be Featured Artist, for August.

This month’s Challenge is “Shadows”, idea by Charles Thurman. August Challenge is “On Earth”, idea by Michelle Kelley.

Congratulations to Carol Tribou, for being selected for the Kentucky Exhibit.  Her painting, “Teal Garden”, will be hanging in the State Capitol until  December 31st.

With the intense heat of the sun, the back door expands making opening impossible!  Sorry, this is just science.  Please be sure the lock is in the verticals position, before you leave.

Enjoy your summer and as always, thanks for all you do for PAPA.
