What comes to mind when you hear the term still life painting? Bouquets of flowers or fruit or treasured mementos? Our artists envisioned all that and more for our challenge this month to paint a Still Life. Painter Judith Webb provides a unique object depiction in “Still Light.” She’s captured a seemingly quiet moment from the corner of a cozy room. The sunlight highlights the glossy green plant and the lovely blue and white pot. The smooth wooden table against the stacked stones makes you wish you were sitting alongside and perhaps gazing out in the direction the leaves are pointing.
As you’ve come to expect, you’ll find PAPA artists have brought lots of imagination to the task on our Challenge Wall. Come by and be delighted by their offerings. We simply want to enjoy art with you!
