Jenny Fuller was telling me that recent visitors to the Gallery were passengers from the River Boat Cruise, all Art Collectors!! Many visited our Gallery, and all were very complimentary of our place! We have so much to offer because you continue to bring amazing art work, and give your time to keep our doors open. Payment of dues is an important part of our success, also.
We will have our Miniature Fundraising Sale, again. The Board will meet soon, to discuss our options. Get busy working on them. Best-selling sizes are 4”x 6” and “5 x 7”.
Several of our members participated in the “Critter Show” at the Ice House Gallery in Mayfield. Congratulations to Maryann Huebschmann, 2nd Place and Honorable Mention in the Painting Category!
Our next meeting is Aug. 31st, 7:00, at the Gallery. Keith Murphy will present the program, “Frustration; Friend or Foe?”. Keith will guide us to understand and use our frustrations, to spark creativity in our painting. You might wish to share experiences. This is a timely program, as we need to know how to use frustration to our benefit!
The Challenge Painting is Evening Lights. Next month is Blessings.
Grady Pennington is the September, Featured Artist. Carol Hudson’s Show has received so many compliments! Isn’t this fun?
Membership dues due…Carol Harlan, Keith Murphy, Brenda Foster.
