Victor Hugo said “To love beauty is to see light” and you’ll understand why he said that when you see our featured artist exhibit this month. Kim Noffke finds art to be a meditative practice that brings relaxation and enjoyment. To view his work is to feel a level of peace and quiet whether the landscape he’s depicted is a sunset or a languid stream. In his painting, “Last Light,” you can enjoy the lovely golden glow highlighting the colorful trees and grasses, as well as imagine the feel of the misty air between you and the mountains.
