Happy Thanksgiving! I love the holidays, and our traditions, that are part of celebrating. My sister and I have a tradition of serving a delicious Thanksgiving feast, with minimal effort. This year, our meal will be from Heavenly Ham and Golden Corral, the new addition will be Sweet Potato Souffle; I hope your gathering is wonderful, as we count our blessings and make memories, with thankfulness.
Speaking of blessings, the recently opened parking lot, across from the Gallery, is really awesome! So far, there is no searching for parking spaces… yea!
Thanks, to all of you, for your donations to our $10 sale! So far, we have a good amount of awesome work. Please continue to bring work, it just helps in our monthly expenses. When you bring paintings, be sure to add the PAPA label and green dot to distinguish them from Gallery Show minis, they are available in the back. Cindy and Sandi have spent much time, working on Social Media promotion, be sure to thank them. This sale begins November 18th.
This month’s meeting will be on the 28th, 7:00, at the Gallery. John McLaren, will share with us, The Story of Blue. He does a great job of detailing how the paint is explored and developed! The Challenge Painting is Monochromatic Painting. Featured Artist for December is Chad McLaren. Keith Murphy has been featured in November, his watercolors so admired by all!
The December meeting, on the 26th, will be our painting exchange. Bring a 11×14, or smaller painting, gift wrapped and a favorite treat. This is a delightful evening of fellowship and fun! A painting to exchange is not required.
A special shout out of thanks, to Diane Bay, our Program Coordinator. She and Rich, will become Snow Birds, wintering in Florida. With your help, she has a list of programs you would like, so all of us will help continue as she guides remotely.
A couple of notes… the next Gallery change, will be January 29th and 30th. A postcard listing Challenge Paintings for 2024, will be coming your way, in early December.
Again, Happy Thanksgiving! Thanks, for all you do for PAPA.
