PAPA’s featured artist this month is full of surprises and you can always expect them to bring out a smile. Liz Hudson’s painting “Big Eyes” is one such painting. Her featured exhibit is generally void of color but her skill in creating thoughtful and memorable images makes you realize don’t miss it. You may marvel at the soft wispy ends of a feather contrasted with hard metal or wonder how she managed to present a detailed patchwork quilt using only black. You might even come away with another way to appreciate the artful things that surround us every day.
