The recent episode of ice and snow, resulted in the Gallery being closed a few days. Our location, facing north on Broadway, makes thawing nearly impossible, but Jenny Fuller faced the elements, with determination! With Ice Melt and our shovel, she cleared the way for opening. Don’t pat her on the back, but tell her thanks, for the courageous effort! Scott Morris and Rebecca Mueller-Williams completed the chore….”it takes an army”!

Another gallant story is about Nora Cope, climbing the tallest ladder to clean the filthy chandelier. Notice the sparkle, on your next visit to the Gallery! Thanks, Nora! You are a remarkable group.

Time for our meeting again! Tuesday, February 22nd At 7:00, at the Gallery. We have a special guest presenting the program, local artist Jason Bailey. Please check out, Jason Bailey Artist on Facebook or Instagram. His work is amazing, working in Plein Air and the studio, note the brush strokes. Don’t miss this program!

The Challenge Painting is “Birds”, idea by Bill Marcum. March Challenge is “Glasses”, idea by Rebecca Mueller-Williams.

Featured Artist for March is Scott Morris. Be sure to see Jenny’s Show, excellent work, in Pastel.

Coming in May, our city block, downtown Paducah is focusing on the Ky. Derby. Each shop will have a related activity. Horse paintings will be our focus, to fill the window. The new show begins in May, so consider that option.

Stay warm, paint often, and stay safe. As always, thanks, for all you do for PAPA!
