Dear PAPA Members,

You are invited to participate in an exhibition coming up at the Yeiser Art Center.

Char Downs, a 20-year veteran artist of Paducah’s Lowertown Arts District, and owner of the Pinecone Gallery, Paducah, invites YOU, and other area artists, to participate in an upcoming exhibit at the Yeiser Art Center.

EXHIBIT DESCRIPTION (from Char Downs):

Years ago, I made & collection of LifeMasks from hundreds of peoples faces, near & far. Over 300 for my first LifeMask installation art show. These white LifeMasks have traveled all over to appear in different show installations since that time.

Now, this year, I’m having my last show with all 400+ masks. It is based on music and is titled: “In the Key of C: CODA”. It will show in The Yeiser Art Center in Paducah. This will be a fundraiser for the art center. Each mask I made is being painted by different artists from all over the area. It’s a white canvas, it’s just in the shape of a face. 😊
