You may enjoy the wide variety of paintings offered at the PAPA Gallery but did you know we had several award winning artists? Rare Rosalie by Rebecca Mueller-Williams earned second place in acrylic painting at the Janice Mason 2024 Juried Art Show in Cadiz, KY. Three PAPA Artists have works in this exhibit which is free to the public and includes artworks in five categories.
Rare Rosalie is a great example of Becca’s work with colorful collage effects. Each of the women in her distinctive portraits has her own personality conveyed through facial expression, color, various ornamentation and oftentimes words. Additionally she will offer unique Christmas ornaments in our upcoming winter show to add special flair to your holiday decor.
Also at the Janice Mason show is Diane Bay’s pastel drawing, Door County Cottage; John McLaren’s California Street in watercolor, which received Second Place in Painting and his watercolor painting Man and Cat that can be seen to its left; and Rebecca Mueller-Williams’ Rare Rosalie which received Second Place in Mixed Media/Collage.
