Calling all artists!

THE WOMAN’S CLUB ART SHOW IS READY TO GO!   Mark your calendars for registration day, April 22, 2023.

This year the Woman’s Club is sending out the brochure for the art show by email to cut costs.  You will not receive a copy in the mail.  There will be printed copies at PAPA and at the city hall. Please print it and use the brochure for pre-registration if you wish to pre-register.

We are excited about this year’s show and looking forward to seeing you all there April 22.

About the exhibit:
“Located at Paducah City Hall Rotunda, this is an open show of original work designed to promote art in the Paducah and surrounding four-state area and to encourage student artists to develop their skills. Professional, non-professional and student artists display their work.”

Choose Professional, non-Professional when registering, however you wish. Students may register K-12.

the following is based on personal past experience, so there may be changes unaware:
Paintings in the Professional category are eligible for 4 awards (Best of Show, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Painting) . They are displayed on the first floor of City Hall.

Paintings in the non-Professional category are eligible for 3 awards in a variety of medium types (Oil, Mixed Media, Watercolor, etc). They are displayed on the 2nd floor of City Hall.

There are also awards for student categories K-12, so encourage your kids to participate!

The Best of Show award winner has the honor of being featured in the center rotunda the following year.
