I have been YouTubing, again! Yesterday, I found an amazing Painting Instructor, Ian Roberts. These are a few of his topics: How to Paint Sunlight, Secret to Simplification, Tips for Painting from Photos, Painting is Seeing Shapes, and many more. What I like about his presentations, they are 10 minutes, or less, perfect for my attention span!
Time for a Gallery Show change! Bring your work, Monday, the 26th or Tuesday, the 27th. On the Website, you will find an updated Entry Form. You may enter 4 Framed, 4 Unframed, and 7 Minis.
Tuesday evening is our meeting, at 7:00. The program, this month is Rebecca Mueller Williams. We will learn how she
creates her textured, whimsical paintings, and see her at work.
The Challenge is, 1 Red, 1 Yellow, 1 Blue, plus Black and White. Next month’s Challenge is Evening Lights.
Carol Hudson is the Featured Artist, for August. Rosemary Towey’s Show has been so interesting! The detail she creates
from magazine paper is super creative! Hope you see her show.
Thank you, as you continue with our daily chores. I feel, a cleaned Gallery is most inviting for our guests.
Special thanks, to Mark Cope! He is my “go to“ when problems are beyond my expertise. Washing windows, installing furnace filters, dealing with electrical problems, are but a few of the ways he helps. Thank him, he keeps us running.
Membership dues, due this month: Betty Emmett, Amy Sharp, Jerry Speight, and Linda Whitler.
As always, thanks for all you do for PAPA.
